Incorporated Association
Our church was established on the 25th of December 2023 as an Incorporated Association, under the name of Christ The Living Water Church Incorporated, with Australian Business Number (ABN): 25128356015 in Melbourne. Our association operates under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012.
Meet Our Ministers
Our association is community based where the officers are selected by the community that could continue to support the association moving toward the goal. As per establishment, our association officers are currently as follows:
Senior Leader
Our senior leader’s family has been living in Melbourne, Australia since 2007. Since coming to Australia, they have started their ministry in one of the Indonesian churches in Melbourne. Before moving to Australia, they lived in Leicester City, UK for 5 years. In addition to the ministry, Hernius has been one of the church’s pastors since 2015 and has been leading the Praise and Worship team since 2016. On the other hand, Siti has been leading the Children’s ministry and has been appointed as the chairperson of the church’s association from 2018 until 2023.
In professional life, Hernius is also working as an Anesthetic and PACU registered nurse at one of Melbourne’s Public Hospitals. Meanwhile, Siti is also working as an education leader in early childhood education in Melbourne.
Hernius and Siti have three children, Agniezka, Rex, and Indra. Agnes has started her study in Health Science at one of the universities in Melbourne. Rex and Indra will be finishing their secondary school soon. All the members of the family have hobbies that relate to songs and playing music.
Leaders
Benaiah and Christy have been living in Australia since 2019. Benaiah first came to Australia back in 2011 when he pursued a postgraduate study in one of the universities in Melbourne. Following his graduation, he returned to Indonesia and started ministering in one of the churches in North Jakarta as one of the Sunday School teachers. After he got his permanent residency in Australia in 2018, he decided to migrate to Australia to join one of the Indonesian churches in Melbourne and join the pastoral team in 2019. In 2020, he also joined the digital team to support the establishment of the digital ministry during the Covid period. Additionally, he also has been appointed as the secretary of the church’s association from 2019 until 2023.
Professionally, Benaiah is working as an IT professional in one of the multinational companies based in Melbourne. On the other hand, Christy is a full-time wife and mother at home and has a passion for baking and patisserie.
Benaiah and Christy have three children, Lakeisha, Nate, and Al, who all love to play Badminton. Nate and Al wishes in the future that they can be a professional badminton player in the future.
Guntur and Angling have been living in Australia since 2014. Since their migration, they have joined one of the Indonesian churches in Melbourne. In 2021, Guntur was appointed to lead the family fellowship in the Western suburbs. Angling was appointed as the treasurer of the church’s association from 2022 until 2024.
In their professional life, Guntur and Angling own an accounting firm that focuses on providing services in tax, accounting, and business advisory. Additionally, Angling also works in the early childhood education industry.
They have two young children, Faith and Love. Faith enjoys spending her time in arts and drawing while taking care of her two-year-old little sister.
